Senior 3 is the bridge between lower-secondary learning and the Senior 4 UCE examination year. Students should master current topics while deliberately repairing gaps from Senior 1 and Senior 2.

Senior 3 study plan to close gaps before the UCE year
What to expect: work becomes less about recalling one fact and more about combining ideas across a multi-step problem, experiment, graph, or written explanation. Senior 3 students also need to retain older content while the syllabus continues, making this the best year to discover which topics could limit their performance in Senior 4.
How to plan: create a three-year topic audit and label every area confident, developing, or weak. Reserve one weekly session for a weak Senior 1 or Senior 2 topic, alongside the time used for current lessons. Use mixed-topic questions to practise choosing the correct method, then record repeated errors and resolve them before beginning intensive UCE revision.
