Program Introduction
Start learning JavaScript programming from the beginning through practical, Uganda-focused exercises that build real coding confidence. This eight-week beginner JavaScript course teaches the language itself—not web development—so learners concentrate on variables, decisions, loops, functions, arrays, objects and problem-solving.
Learners practise with familiar examples such as shop sales, mobile-money transaction records, school marks, stock counts and transport costs. By the end, they can turn a clear problem into a working JavaScript program and are ready for Ellipkom’s Intermediate JavaScript Programming course.

- No previous programming experience is required.
- Basic ability to use a computer, manage files and type text.

- A laptop that can run a modern code editor and the current Node.js LTS release.
