Program Introduction
Start learning Swift programming with a practical, beginner-friendly course built for learners in Uganda, East Africa and across Africa. This program teaches the Swift language itself: how to think through a problem, write clear code, use Swift’s type system and build reliable command-line programs. You will work with constants, variables, strings, numbers, decisions, loops, collections, functions, optionals, structures and enumerations. Lessons use familiar examples such as UGX budgets, school results, small-business stock and market sales so that programming ideas feel concrete. You will also learn to read compiler messages, test small pieces of logic and organise a project with Swift Package Manager. By the end, you will have a complete language-only capstone that demonstrates practical problem-solving without depending on a mobile-development framework.
