By Grade 5, learners move from playing with code to engineering with it. They uncover what happens inside a computer—CPU, memory, storage—and see how data, networks and emerging tech like AI fit together. Armed with this systems view, they design and build more sophisticated software or hardware projects, often in text‑based Python, and learn to communicate and collaborate online safely.

- Transition from Scratch to Python: input/output, variables,
if/else, loops, simple lists. - Structured debugging strategies and version control basics (save iterations).
