Primary programming should feel like guided exploration rather than a simplified university course. ellipkom's primary-level projects use stories, movement, patterns, puzzles, and visual building blocks to teach sequence, repetition, decisions, and cause and effect—the same reasoning skills built by Uganda's primary Thinking Skills curriculum, applied through code instead of worksheets. Instructions are matched to the learner's reading level, with room to change characters, rules, colours, sounds, or outcomes.
Sessions are kept short and end with something the learner can demonstrate. Before running a project, the child predicts what will happen, then explains what changed and why. When a mistake appears, guided questions and clues are used instead of taking over the keyboard—the goal is persistence and reasoning alongside digital confidence, not just a working program.
Every animation, game, story, drawing, and puzzle solution is saved to a simple project gallery. Learners name their own creations and explain the idea in their own words.
